Wire Rope Lubricant Spray

Fuchs Rope Lube Aerosol is one of Fuchs’s advanced speciality products designed for maintenance treatment of all types of wire ropes and cables. It is a spray applied dressing with excellent corrosion protection properties and good lubricating characteristics.

It has high penetrating ability, ensuring penetration of the concentrate through to the lay core rather than simply affording surface protection. Once at the core, the product has good de-watering, and importantly, rust prevention capabilities - important characteristics for those cables used out of doors.

Penetration by the concentrate is essential to ensure lubrication between individual wires and the strands composing these wires in the rope construction. Flexing and tension of wires and cables in use presents one of the most complex lubrication problems in the oil industry.
